DR Anderson and its subcontractor team removed and replaced the roof structure on UNMC’s Central Utility Plant. Originally built in 1919, and expanded in the 1940’s, the existing wood timber roof structure was removed and replaced with modern steel fire resistant construction. The project was completed over the summer months while maintaining the fully functioning boiler plant below. A temporary scaffold/roof structure was built in the plant to protect boilers, insulation, controls, and high voltage electrical gear in the basement.

DR Anderson constructed two multi-story buildings for Nebraska Christian College on their new 80-acre campus south of Omaha. Each building includes student residences, administrative offices, classrooms, and library space. A student center and cafeteria are included as well. Both buildings were completed simultaneously by DRA and feature wood framing, masonry foundations, and exteriors finishes including EFIS, brick, and split face CMU. Combined, both facilities total over 45,000sf.

D.R. Anderson (DRA) successfully bid and was awarded this renovation project with Metropolitan Community College at their South Omaha Campus. Upon selection, DRA proposed value-engineering options which provided in excess of $40,000 in savings to MCC.

DR Anderson successfully completed this facility for Metropolitan Community College as a link to bring their existing facilities together with a new public library and transportation facility. This building also serves as a student center with public meeting areas and numerous classrooms.

DR Anderson constructed this building adjacent to the existing IBEW offices and meeting hall. This required careful coordination between DR Anderson’s management team and our client, IBEW. This project was successfully completed in phases without any major interruptions or delays in our clients daily operations.

D. R. Anderson Constructors Co. competitively bid and was awarded this project by the North Bend Central Public School Board.  The project consisted of addition(s) and renovations to the Elementary and High School facilities.

DR Anderson was selected as the negotiated General Contractor for this project.  DRA completed a pre-grading/surcharge package while the final Guaranteed Maximum Price for the project was established.

The facility includes a regional training center for Carpenters and Millwrights.  The Center includes classrooms, computer lab, welding stations, and a training bay with an indoor pit.

Offices for administration and a meeting hall were also included in the facility.
